Over 12 years, the dropout rate fell sharply from 4.67 (2013–14) to 0.3 (2025–26) at primary level and from 14.54 (2013–14) to 9.5 (2025–26) at secondary level (9th-10th). This reduction reflects strengthened efforts to retain learners in school and support their continued educational progression.

उत्तर प्रदेश में पीएम ई-विद्या की 5 दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाला सम्पन्न

शिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के प्रयासों ���े तरह, SCERT - उत्तर प्रदेश, लखनऊ एवं CIET-NCERT, New Delhi के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में 03 से 07 अगस्त 2026 तक पाँच दिवसीय पीएम ई-विद्या हेतु अभिविन्यास-सह-प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाला आयोजित की गई।

कार्यशाला में उत्तर प्रदेश के विभिन्न जिलों से आए 50+ प्रतिभागियों को पटकथा लेखन, e-content निर्माण, प्री-प्रोडक्शन, प्रोडक्शन, एडिटिंग एवं पोस्ट-प्रोडक्शन का व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण दिया गया।

शिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा SCERT उत्तर प्रदेश को 5 पीएम ई-विद्या DTH टीवी चैनल आवंटित हैं, जिन पर ई-कंटेंट का 24×7 प्रसारण किया जा रहा है। यह कंटेंट मोबाइल ऐप, YouTube एवं OTT प्लेटफॉर्म पर भी उपलब्ध है।

उत्तर प्रदेश विद्यार्थियों द्वारा अब तक करीब 28,000 #PMeVidya Mobile ऐप डाउनलोड और 1,000 ई-कंटेंट का निर्माण किया जा चुका है।

समापन सत्र में डॉ. पवन सचान, संयुक्त निदेशक, SCERT उत्तर प्रदेश ने पीएम ई-विद्या के प्रभावी प्रचार-प्रसार के लिए प्रत्येक जिले में नोडल अधिकारी नियुक्त करने और उत्���ृष���ट कार्य करने वालों को सम्मानित करने की प्रयासों के बारे मैं जानकारी दी।

प्रारंभिक शिक्षा विभाग, एनसीईआरटी द्वारा हिन्दी की पाठ्य-पुस्तक कक्षा 3(Veena)की Video program हेतु कार्यशाल�� दिनांक 7-9 अगस्त 2026 तक आयोजित किया जा रहा है। कार्यशाला का उद्देश्य हिंदी की पाठ्य-पुस्तक Veena पर Video program को बनाना है।

उद्घाटन सत्र में प्रारंभिक शिक्षा विभाग की अध्यक्ष ने कार्यक्रम की रूपरेखा पर विस्तृत चर्चा की। कार्यक्रम में प्रो सुनील कुमार सिंह, डां अवधेश कुमार सिंह, नरेंद्र श्रीवास्तव, डां लवली पुरी, ज्योति तिवारी, आशुतोष शर्मा और बुद्धि प्रकाश ने सहभागिता किया।

First Workshop में Veena पुस्तक के अलग-अलग पाठों पर विस्तृत चर्चा की गई तथा उनको रेखांकित करके कुछ पाठों पर first draft की video script बनाई गई।

The Ministry of Education, DoSEL (Dept of School Education and Literacy) organised an Orientation Workshop on PRASHAST 2.0 and other Inclusive Education interventions today, bringing together States/UTs to introduce the revamped PRASHAST 2.0 App and strengthen inclusive education in schools.

In his keynote address, Secretary, DoSEL, Shri T. K. Anil Kumar reaffirmed the Department's commitment to inclusive education under NEP 2020 and the RPwD Act, 2016.

He noted that while Children with Special Needs (CwSN) constitute about 1.73% of India's child population (Census 2011), UDISE+ enrolment of CwSN is only 0.89% against the general enrollment , highlighting gaps in identification and enrolment.

He urged States/UTs to:

👉 Expedite the UDISE+ Student Progression exercise.

👉 Ensure timely screening under PRASHAST 2.0.

👉 Complete teacher sensitisation and strengthen capacity building in inclusive education.

👉 Carry out accessibility audits of schools under Samagra Shiksha.

👉 Make universal PRASHAST 2.0 screening a mission priority to ensure every CwSN receives timely support.

The Valedictory Session of Capacity Building Workshop 3.0 | Batch 1 marked the successful conclusion of the programme focused on strengthening the implementation of Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) and APAAR ID under the aegis of the Ministry of Education.

Participating States in Batch 1 showcased their VSK implementation journeys and shared best practices, highlighting innovative initiatives and key achievements. A dedicated session on the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 reinforced the importance of secure and responsible data governance in education.

राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक अनुसंधान और प्रशिक्षण परिषद (एनसीईआरटी) के हिंदी प्रकोष्ठ द्वारा 04 अगस्त 2026 को "हिंदी टंकण एवं कंप्यूटर पर हिंदी में कामकाज एवं अभ्यास" विषय पर एकदिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। इसका उद्देश्य कार्यालयों में राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रयोग को बढ़ावा देना तथा संकाय सदस्यों को कंप्यूटर पर हिंदी में कार्य करने के लिए प्रशिक्षित करना था।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ प्रभारी, हिंदी प्रकोष्ठ डॉ. नीलकंठ कुमार के स्वागत वक्तव्य से हुआ। प्रथम सत्र में सुश्री शशि महंत ने हिंदी टंकण, यूनिकोड, गूगल इनपुट टूल, एमएस ऑफिस, हिंदी ई-मेल लेखन एवं इंटरनेट पर हिंदी के उपयोग का व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण दिया। द्वितीय सत्र में डॉ. सचिन बत्रा ने प्रतिभागियों को अभ्यास कराया तथा हिंदी एआई टूल्स एवं डिजिटल हिंदी के विभिन्न उपकरणों की जानकारी दी।

कार्यशाला में विभिन्न विभागों के 14 संकाय सदस्यों तथा क्षेत्रीय शिक्षा संस्थानों (RIEs) के प्रतिभागियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता की। कार्यक्रम का समापन हिंदी अधिकारी श्री संजीव कुमार के धन्यवाद ज्ञापन के साथ हुआ।

The first day of Capacity Building Workshop 3.0 marked a significant step towards strengthening India's digital education ecosystem through collaborative learning, innovation, and data-driven governance under the aegis of the Ministry of Education.

Participants from Odisha, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, along with officials from Central Autonomous Bodies, and NCERT, participated in the workshop to deliberate on the effective implementation of Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) and APAAR ID.

The workshop commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Rajesh D., Associate Professor & National Coordinator (VSK), who highlighted the objectives, expected outcomes, and roadmap of the programme.

Guided by the vision of NEP 2020, the workshop focuses on building institutional capacity, strengthening inter-state collaboration, and promoting the effective use of technology and educational data for informed decision-making. Through initiatives like VSK and APAAR ID, the programme aims to enhance governance, improve learning outcomes, and contribute to a more efficient, transparent, and learner-centric education system.
