Developer Harworth is set to build a new advanced manufacturing facility for a global automotive firm.

Backed by £3.6m Town Deal funding, the site could support up to 1,700 jobs.

🚧 King Street improvements are taking shape in Kidsgrove.

Work is creating a safer, more welcoming town centre with new planting, wider steps, improved parking and a safer traffic system.

Businesses remain open as usual. The scheme is part of the £16.9m Kidsgrove Town Deal.

Council taxpayer savings from cancelled Net Zero plans pass £10.5 million.

A review of planned spending has found that Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council will avoid more than £10.5 million in costs after cancelling its commitment to become carbon ‘Net Zero’ by 2030.

We’re investing £500k to transform the park with:
✅ New inclusive play area (70+ features)
✅ Outdoor gym
✅ Better access
✅ Pump track (coming soon)

Work is underway now, with completion due later this summer 💚

Government plans will see our Borough Council replaced by a new unitary authority covering Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Moorlands.

Services will continue as normal for now.
