Yesterday, we raised awareness for the deaf and hard of hearing community in partnership with @NebCDHH.
We participated in a Silent Inning to bring awareness to their cause. Linsay Darnall Jr. made his debut as the Storm Chasers announcer for the whole 3rd inning!
Thanks to @NEDHHS Medicaid and Long-Term Care Director, Kevin Bagley, for coming to the Town Hall Meeting to hear stories about struggles for communication access in our Nebraska medical systems for deaf and hard of hearing.
We partnered with #LNK Aging Partners on Communication Kits for Assisted Living Facilities in Lincoln and surrounding areas. These are a great tool to ensure communication access for residents who are deaf or hard of hearing.
