I've been dreading today.

As I've watched people look at the then and now of the last 10 years, all I've been able to know was that some point it would be February 3rd, and we would forever be more than 10 years since my Dad passed away.

I guess what I'm saying is, a lot of people told me grief gets easier with time. I haven't found that to be true. I've just found that as time goes on, grief becomes contextualized alongside joy. The joys pile up, but the grief remains, exactly as potent as it was before.
