Reading about deployment of Facial Recognition System by Delhi Police at protest site to identify people with Criminal Background. It will be very funny if one is installed at Parliament Door. It will beep like an Alarm Clock without stop or snooze button
Am trying to locate that video, but was asked this question around Jun 25 -
“Why is mainstream media not covering you?”
And I had replied -
“By the time we are done, mainstream media would no longer be relevant.”
Get this clear on the #Cjp protest.
The protest site is an open house.. Violence by a handful of people there does not represent the mainstream that is visibly peaceful and cheerful. The CJP is a movement, not an organisation with gate keeping rights.
But the police there are part of a hierarchical state apparatus. Any attempt to equate stray acts of violence on the margins of the sit-in protest with videographed acts of pellets, lathi charge and teargas by the police are NOT equal or the same
When a pic says more than a 1000 words or half hour news show could. A place at Jantar Mantar where shoes/sandals of all those who lost them during the Monday protests are kept . #JantarMantar
Visual Proof 🚨
Sandeep Lamba, Additional DCP of Delhi Police, slapped a girl in the face on camera🤯
How can a male police officer even touch a female protestor, let alone slapping her?
Wada toh kiya tha
Achhe din aayeinge
Jo nafrat ki buniyad pe aaye hain
Wo nafrat hi phailayeinge
Bachhon ka kal na dekhein
Sirf guzra kal mitaeinge
Jo nafrat ki buniyad pe aaye hain
Wo nafrat hi phailayeinge
Baba, businessmen, balatkaari
Bas inhe ye bachaeinge
Jo nafrat ki buniyad pe aaye hain
Wo nafrat hi phailayeinge
The most interesting thing about the protest: Almost everybody I spoke to didn't even mention Abhijeet Dipke or CJP or Sonam Wangchuk. All they mentioned was paper leaks, dictatorship and democracy in danger. This protest has taken the form of a huge anti-incumbency protest.
