The 99 'Lost' Names of Normandy: for the first time since its official opening, more names of servicemen who sacrificed their lives on D-Day and during the Battle of Normandy are engraved onto the Memorial.
The 99 men are aged 17 to 48 and represent all military services and include a number of nationalities who served under British command.

#OTD 15 April 1917 51488 Pte Clifford Pickard, 2/1st East Riding Yeomanry, died suddenly in hospital in Bridlington aged 18.ย He had been called up only a month before.ย He is buried in Bridlington Cemetery #Forrard#ERY#LestWeForget
