Paris-Nice Stage 7 UPDATE - 47 km length
"As weather conditions have deteriorated further compared with yesterdayโs forecast, the race organisers have decided to make additional changes to the route for stage 7 ..."
"To avoid the sections made dangerous by rain in the first part of the route, riders will be transferred in their team buses to a new start location on the Louis Nucรฉra bridge, at Le Broc. The finish line remains in Isola-Village, at the end of a route now reduced to 47 kilometres."
Lorena Wiebes wins GP Oetingen
"We executed our plan perfectly"
Lorena Wiebes has won the GP Oetingen for the third time in her career. The Dutch champion accelerated on the final hill and pulled away from the peloton. Only Fleur Moors was able to keep up. Wiebes started her sprint early and secured her fourth victory of the season for Team SD Worx-Protime. โThis is a great victory. I was perfectly surrounded throughout the race, so it's nice to finish it off like this.โ

@BenjiNaesen Back in 60s in a Canadian race, one moto led one group one way, another moto led the 2nd group another way. It turned out alright though, they came together at the finish - sprinting to the line from opposite directions!
Matthew Brennan kept the donkey but handed his beer off to a female fan, who was egged on by the crowd to "chug" the giant brew - she wisely chose not to. (Why didn't Brennan drink it? He has a gluten intolerance)

@BenjiNaesen And with Netflix no longer interested in Warner Bros., it looks like Paramount is going to be the new owner, which will likely be worse for cycling fans.
