New Galxe quest by @domaprotocol! In the Flipper’s Paradise #2 quest you can obtain the exclusive Sand NFT. This post includes a full step-by-step breakdown of everything you need to do to complete the quest and mint the said NFT.

But first… what is Doma Protocol? It is an EVM compatible L2 blockchain built on the OP stack developed by @d3inc.

Now, on to the Galxe quest itself. You can find the quest here: https://t.co/bZ7qIeg8Dn. Keep in mind this is a testnet quest, so no real funds are needed to complete the tasks, but minting the Sand NFT requires you to spend some mainnet ETH on Base chain.

Let's break it down 👇:

Part A. Funding your EVM wallet with testnet tokens
Once you've finished the social tasks and completed the riddle, let's move on to the on-chain part. As you will probably be purchasing, tokenizing and listing/buying domains on Doma testnet for test $ETH or test $USDC, let's fund your wallet with both.

Step 3⃣. Visit the Sepolia→Doma testnet bridge and transfer your test ETH/USDC to Doma testnet: https://t.co/rIHZAkshvs

Part B. "Tycoon of Tech-5" task
This is where it gets a little tricky 😎. You will need to either list or purchase a premium-style, finance/fintech/wealth-inspired domain with up to 5 letters through the “Buy now” feature on the Doma dashboard. What does this mean?

Part B, Route 1. Let's say you want to list a finance-inspired domain on the Doma Dashboard but you don't have it. Here's what you need to do to obtain one:

Step 4⃣. Visit https://t.co/WdL6cKtHXw and connect your EVM wallet. In the search bar, you will have to come up with a name for your finance/fintech/wealth-inspired domain. The name has to be no more than 5 letters.
Examples of short words related to finance and wealth → buy, pay, gold, lend, cash, bank, loan, coin, fund, dollar, etc. Do you get the idea? Now you can try creating a 5-letter name based on such words.

Examples → banky, goldi, goldy, cashy, cashi, finly, debty, loani, buxly, dollr, vapay, alend, labuy etc. TLDR: be creative here.

When you have come up with a name, type it in the search bar and look for the results. You can switch the "All recommendations" toggle off at the left bottom corner of the page to see only premium domains. The domain name has to say "available" for you to purchase it. If it's available, add it to your cart. .io, .ai, .com or .football domains can be purchased in Doma Testnet (see screenshot below this post for guidance).

Step 5⃣. With the domain added to cart, a window will pop up where in the Payment method menu you need to select "Doma Testnet" and pay in either test ETH or test USDC. After selecting, click on "Buy now" and sign the transaction (see screenshot below this post for guidance).

Step 6⃣. Click on your profile in top right corner → select "My Assets" menu. Find the domain you purchased, select "tokenize domain" and tokenize it on Doma Testnet (see screenshot below this post for guidance).

Step 7⃣. Once tokenized, all that's left is to list your domain. Visit https://t.co/8ULoIAtLPG → click on your profile in top right corner → select "Portfolio" menu. Find the domain you just tokenized, select it and list it for any price in test ETH or USDC (see screenshot below this post for guidance). You're done.

Part B, Route 2. If you somehow weren't able to purchase, tokenize and list a finance/fintech/wealth-inspired domain, you can try buying it off of someone on the Doma Dashboard. Just make sure to look for affordable domains on Doma Testnet with proper finance inspired names (check the examples I have given in Step 4). Once you spot such domain, click on it and buy it through the "Buy now" option at the right side of the page.

Part C. "Wordlord of Real-4" task
This task follows the same logic as Tycoon task, with the only difference that you can make a domain with a name containing any real English dictionary word with 4 letters or fewer. I suggest just opening a dictionary in your browser and picking some 4 letter words to name your domain.

Examples → snap, drop, flop, whiz, bump, puff, etc. Any of such words will do. Make sure the domain name does not contain made-up words, numbers, or special characters. Purchase, tokenize and list this domain on Doma Dashboard (just like you did in Tycoon task) and this will complete the Wordlord task.

Now go back to Galxe to verify the tasks. Keep in mind that for this quest, credential updates occur at 16:00 UTC every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Make sure to verify the on-chain tasks on Galxe only after the update has occurred.

All that's left is to mint the Sand NFT. It is on Base mainnet, so make sure your wallet has around 0.000035 ETH (around $0.12) to cover the minting + gas fees.
