Pains me but I sold my Element today. She had been mostly sitting & I could no longer register as historic in MD.
New buyer is a furry as well & hopefully he enjoys her more than I’ve been able to from here on out. I’ll def buy another one eventually!
275k and was still goin strong. Has at least another 150k in her I’m confident.
The Type R will become my daily for now. Though I’ve considered parting with that eventually & when I do, I’d love another Element as my daily. I love the platform & the utility is unmatched.
@OVERKILLK9 I’ll test one before I make a decision for sure. My current bike is 375 & it’s a riot so either way I go I’m gaining at least 50lbs. The XSR is 425, CB is closer to 460.
Good to know you really love it!
It’s between these two for my upgrade. CB650R vs XSR900
Yamaha has more tech, more power & is lighter. Honda is more friendly + inline 4 sound
While the 900 is a lot, it has drive modes to manage power delivery till I want more
@OVERKILLK9 I just wish it wasn’t so heavy ;-; like I get why with the steel frame but I feel if it was 425ish it’d be perfect
Also if it had cruise control it’d be a much harder choice between the Honda & the Yamaha
@KyleSnaps@Bestkangarooo Def leaning this way! They have wheelie control, traction control & 4 power modes to make em super friendly until you’re ready for insanity lol
As a first time rider I knew I’d outgrow the 321cc bike somewhat soon. Did so quicker than I expected but that’s okay. I’d rather have learned the basics on a safer/slower bike than immediately hop onto something that would scare the shit outta me lol
I’m still thoroughly enjoying the MT-03 around town. It’s plenty for the city & it’s light weight & nimble nature are so much fun. It’s like a Miata… not fast but fun because you can wring it out & use it all.
I just want something a bit bigger for longer trips/freeway use
