Reading "Non Violent Communication" again, It's a gift that keeps on giving:
"What would we like the other person to do differently?" and "What do we want their reasons to be?". Where the second question makes it obvious why punishment or rewards wont work.
Ohhh, I can block the Twitter Blue reply guys all at once...they're always right at the top.
Hey! Hey...trans women are women! Climate change is caused by people! Healthcare is a human right! Birth control should be free and abortion should be legal!
Do you know what trunk-based development (TBD) is? Do you use feature branches? Are you practising continuous integration?
I’ve been having fun the last few months, writing a report for @OReillyMedia on TBD and CI, and it was published this week!

@olofb@ericnormand I would argue that they can be categorized into C,A,D but in the context of the type language.
Generics for example are pure functions in the type space, Array<Int> is calling the type function Array with the argument Int returning the new type meaning arrays with ints.
There's a piece of advice that goes "If you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room."
While I don't want to detract from the message and insight it offers, also worth considering "If you're the smartest person in the room, you're wrong."

Being in a language with batteries included is so nice. You're catching a Python exception and would like to inspect it? There's a `traceback` module in the stdlib that can (for example) give you an exception's trace, with separate objects per line, with attributes like `lineno`.
It was now some time ago (a year maybe?) I read "x + y" by @DrEugeniaCheng. I still reflect on how Ingressive systems train us to create competitions and judgement where there is no benefits and/or where none is needed.
Like looking for difference in things instead of sameness.
