The Micro/nano-fluidic Biology and Energy Innovation Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Michigan State University has multiple fully funded Postdoc and Ph.D. positions in the areas of Thermal Science and Fluids. We are inviting creative and self-motivated Ph.D. to join us. Research in the group will focus on surface science, microfluidics, interface phenomena, thermal and fluid transport, droplets, and their applications in energy and biotechnology via both fundamental and practical investigations. Selected candidates are expected to start as early as Spring 2026.
Qualification
Students from all science and engineering majors, especially Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Material Science are encouraged to apply. Research experience in experiment or simulation and publications are preferred but not required.

She was a postdoctoral researcher in Energy Storage & Distributed Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

Day 14 of the BioRTC summer school. Computational Neuroscience Workshop. Today we presented our projects. We worked on a drosophila head direction project measuring uncertainty in varying stimuli. We used the linear regression model to compare errors in both hemispheres.
