Great to get a sneak peek inside the old Allders - an iconic part of Croydon’s past - and see first-hand the progress now being made to bring it back to life.

This autumn, seven new units will open in the refurbished shopfront, breathing fresh energy into the North End. The line-up includes a modest fashion retailer, florist, independent café, sweet treats, high street lifestyle offer and a national service provider.

As someone who regularly visited Allders with my family as a child, this milestone feels especially significant.

And this is just the start - the wider @urw_group masterplan will reshape the rest of this key site, driving forward the bold transformation of our town centre.
