After undergoing surgery to remove a brain tumor in 2010, Puppies Puppies (Jade Guanaro Kuriki-Olivo) used CBD to prevent seizures that frequently occur during recovery from cranial surgeries. She also uses it to help navigate the anxiety and stress of life as a trans woman.
