Around 100 #sheep were #killed after being hit by the #DakshinExpress near #Ashaapur in #Medchal-#Malkajgiri district early Tuesday.

The sheep reportedly ran onto the #railwaytracks after being startled by the sound of the train. Their #herders, who were sleeping a short distance away, were left devastated.

#Telangana Chief Minister @revanth_anumula made the following remarks:

#RevanthReddy said Lord #Shiva is the “#Godofthepoor” and Lord Rama the “#Godoftherich”, adding that he and those from the #South are devotees of Shiva, while #NorthIndians are devotees of Rama.

He described the divide as one between “#Dravidians” and “#Aryans” and asked whether @BJP4India leaders had ever said “Har Har Mahadev”, while noting their use of “Jai Shri Ram”.

On #ITIcourses, the Chief Minister said students studying in ITIs only repair Ambassador cars.

He said Ambassador cars are now found nowhere except with former Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao (@TSwithKCR)
and argued that the existing ITI syllabus should therefore be scrapped.

Referring to his own political performance, Reddy said, “Yes, I failed.” On Centre-Telangana relations, Revanth Reddy said former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh extended as much support to Prime Minister @narendramodi as he could, while Modi was not extending similar support to Telangana.

Revanth Reddy said Modi was personally cordial with him but alleged that the Centre was not doing enough for Telangana.

Referring to Modi’s prospects of forming a government for a fourth term, Revanth Reddy said, “As an #ABVPworker, I say that if Modi wants to form the government for a fourth time, he must first win the hearts of the people.”

A #schoolbus carrying #students met with an #accident on the main road at #Jillelaguda under the #Meerpet police station limits.

The #PallaviModelSchool bus, carrying 17 students, was heading from school.

After dropping 15 students at #Almasguda, the driver reportedly lost #consciousness after a sudden drop in #bloodpressure near #Lalithanagar X Road.

The bus went out of control and hit the road divider. At the time, two teachers, a school ayah, two students and the driver were on board.

The #driver sustained #minorinjuries.

#Meerpet police have registered a #case and launched an #investigation.
