Mathew Scott, a photographer based in Los Angeles, embarked on an ongoing project documenting the LA River. To make his upcoming portfolio reviews more impactful, he chose to showcase his work in a unique zine format, rather than the usual postcard promo.
"Our feedback has been fab, with many inspired to get involved in Redruth's future”, says Minnie Bunce.
The Ladder teamed up with Falmouth University to showcase what excites them about Redruth. They went for #traditionaltabloid to easily engage with the local community.
@taylorjanephoto had a brilliant idea for announcing her baby in the form of a newspaper! Her family and friends were thrilled, calling it both clever and creative.
"The best part about making the newspaper was coming up with the fun narratives and opening it when it arrived!".
@designfestbrum is dedicated to nurturing the city's emerging creative talent. This year, they used the mini format to produce 4000 festival guides.
"Our theme was 'Process', so using a tactile analogue process & medium felt like the perfect fit”, says Luke Tonge.
Book of Love is a collection of drawings that explore the looping and unending story of life.
