Spain’s extraordinary migrant regularization has become a new rallying point for the country’s far right.
Far-right political actors, extremist groups, and online influencers have seized on the regularization to amplify anti-migrant and Islamophobic narratives around “invasion,” the “Great Replacement,” “remigration,” and a new “Reconquest.”
These narratives recently resurfaced following the migrant arrivals in Ceuta, contributing to a broader wave of far-right mobilization both online and offline.

#NewReport: Profiting from Hate Music report is the first comprehensive mapping of India's hate music industry and the role @YouTube, @Spotify, @Meta, and @AppleMusic play in sustaining and funding it.
We documented 523 Hindutva pop (H-Pop) hate songs that dehumanize Muslims and Christians and, in many cases, glorify or incite violence against these communities. The songs were found across major digital platforms and music streaming services despite violating their own policies on hateful and harmful content.
Key findings:
-5.9M+ Instagram reels created using hate songs
-198M+ views on YouTube
-1 in 2 songs explicitly threaten violence
-Ads from 103 brands, including @OpenAI, @Google, @amazon@PrimeVideo, @Adobe, Dell and @LEVIS, ran on hate song videos on YouTube
-Platforms removed just 8% of reported hate songs, despite clear violations of their own policies.
These hate songs have already contributed to deadly communal violence and real-world attacks against minorities across India.

Over the past year, we have documented a troubling rise in online dehumanization and incitement targeting Muslims across multiple reports. Social media platforms have repeatedly failed to curb the spread and amplification of violent extremist rhetoric targeting Muslims online.
Last month, we published a report documenting a coordinated 13-month campaign of anti-Muslim bigotry by more than 85 Republican elected officials. Using the Dangerous Speech framework, we concluded that this rhetoric carried a serious risk of inspiring violence.
Today, two shooters attacked the campus of the Islamic Center of San Diego, which also houses a school. A total of five people, including the two suspects, are reportedly dead.
According to CNN, initial reports indicate that hate speech was scrawled on one of the weapons used in the attack, and that one of the suspects left behind a suicide note containing writings about racial pride.
We have seen this pattern repeatedly. Elected officials dehumanize an entire community, those dehumanizing narratives spread and radicalize others, and eventually some people act on them.
This must end. No community should have to live under the constant threat of violence because politicians choose to spread hatred, fear, and bigotry for political gain.
