@travyroundstone@coachshanego@laxt1sm Also, even though Paul had a terrible accident. He still lives a very normal life and continues to make some of the best products in the game. Gait is a sponsor of the team, therefore he should be allowed to wear any Gait item that isn’t prohibited by Nike contract.
@travyroundstone@coachshanego@laxt1sm As someone who owns a lacrosse retail store and frequently purchases from Gait Lacrosse… I can tell you the employees his brother and him have running his business allow him to do whatever he pleases. He does a lot for design and innovative things there.
HS Kids are playing too much lacrosse in the summer.
The second half of July has been tough to watch.
These kids are cooked and they’re not playing to the best of their ability.
We need to look for a better way to serve the recruits and the recruiters in June/July. Thoughts?👇
KYLE FILIPOWSKI WILL RETURN TO DUKE - The ACC Rookie of the Year has elected to run it back for he is coming back to Duke for his sophomore season. The return of Filipowski gives Jon Scheyer a big man with experience to build his system further in year two.
Filipowski should improve his draft stock and he will be able to round out his game while still a Blue Devil. Flip as he is known to many will join Mark Mitchell and Tyrese Proctor as a contingent of super sophomores that will be expected to teach a bevy of freshmen newcomers.
A fan favorite, Filipowski, teased Twitter followers often knowing they were sitting on pins and needles. While some of us hinted heavily that he would return early on, it was finally made official to the joy of many.
The second year to be, Filipowski, was the ACC Tournament MVP as Duke became the 2023 ACC Champions. He won one national Freshman of the Year award and averaged a near double-double in his first season.
The Westtown, New York native was the first-ever recruit signed by Jon Scheyer as a head coach at Duke on July 7th,2021. His twin brother Matt plays for former Duke star Tommy Amaker at Harvard.
With Filipowkski back in the fold, the Duke Blue Devils will be expected to compete for a national title and they should have a lofty pre-season ranking.
