Using Handheld X-Ray Machine facilities, the initiative supported early detection and timely treatment.

Strengthening India–Canada Strategic Cooperation in Coal and Mining
Shri Vikram Dev Dutt, Secretary, Ministry of Coal, held a high-level bilateral meeting with Mr. Glenn Purves, Deputy Minister for International Trade, Canada, along with members of the Canadian delegation and senior officers of the Ministry of Coal.
The discussions encompassed coking coal, coal gasification, renewable energy, CCUS, critical minerals, and mine automation & modernisation, with emphasis on technology collaboration, investment, supply-chain resilience and R&D.
The meeting underscored the significant potential for deeper India–Canada partnership in fostering innovation, strengthening resource and supply-chain security, and advancing a secure, modern, technology-driven and sustainable coal and mining sector.
