@saumil@Ticketmaster It is true that I’m being speculative but I see no other reasonable explanation for 10% of the 1,250 available tickets becoming valuable on 3rd party resale platforms only seconds after selling out on Ticketmaster.
@saumil Thank you for the opportunity to buy tickets to a show for hundreds more not 5 minutes after the show sold out on @Ticketmaster Y’all are doing your best to ruin music.
@saumil@Ticketmaster It seems like fans an Ticketmaster can work together to revise a regulatory landscape that seems to have had unintended consequences. Who are the representative who have worked on this issue? Feel free to @ them.
@saumil@Ticketmaster With respect, you’re the executive and I’m just the guy who’s been beat out by bots for the last four Ticketmaster shows that I’ve tried to attend. Ticketmaster should find the solution that puts tickets in the hands of fans. Are you saying that nothing can be done?
@saumil@Ticketmaster I appreciate your willingness to engage. The ask is simple. Ban resale. If you can’t attend the ticket goes back to Ticketmaster and to the next person on the wait list. Fans of music should be able to buy tickets to artists without competing with bots and getting fleeced.
@johnpelwood@saumil Are you telling us that a stadium worth of people want to see this weird microtonal band in DC? Why aren’t they playing a stadium with this kind of demand? Could it possibly be that those 42k people aren’t actually people?
@saumil@ever_lovelyjill@beybuteraa@Ticketmaster You have a persistent bot problem that you refuse to solve. Ticketmaster is ruining the live music experience. Music for the highest bidder.
@gnoble79@BenSasse Remember when he voted to repeal the ACA in 2017. He gets his taxpayer funded healthcare while his legacy was to deny healthcare to his fellow countrymen. Classy.
@baltimoresun What about selecting one of the endangered or critically threatened species that can still be found in Maryland waters and haven’t been extinct for 3.6 million years?
@EFFE4USA@isabel_cumming That’s an out-of-focus picture of a photocopy of unclear provenance. Please provide something with independently verifiable data with citations. That’s what I was taught to expect in 7th grade.
