Among old-age pension recipients in 2025, 60% of women received less than €500 per month, compared with 28,5% of men. Men were significantly more represented than women among recipients of pensions above €750 per month.

Poverty was more prevalent among unemployed individuals (42,6%), single-parent households (35,1%), and large families (26,7%). The risk of poverty was also higher among women than men (16,3% vs. 14,5%).
