I really hope they learned from talamasca of what works and what doesn’t when expanding the immortal series because obviously fans want to see more of the preexisting characters that they already love
of abuse more difficult to identify as indeed abusive the supernatural element of litteral memory erasure/modification wld have been a good way to highlight it and make it as explicit as possible.
The scene (2.06) when Louis finally confronts Armand abt his memory loss from SF and the way Armand tries and manages to make Louis' resolve crumble was such a clear exemple to DARVO tactic at use to me. To retcon that wld wld be such a diservice to the writing.
