Updates:🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭 Today, president John Dramani Mahama and former vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and former second lady Samira Bawumia graced the final Funeral rites of Sheikh Ali Kwatima to pay their last respect. What a lovely moment between the Two northerners ❤️❤️
Mahama is talking about a 24-hour economy.
The same Mahama who couldn’t maintain light for 12 hours in his tenure.
That’s a big lie. He can’t deliver it.

For the records and from the Judgment, Chairman Wontumi was not jailed for his involvement in Galamsey but for allegedly assigning his mineral rights to a third party to mine on his concession, when the State presented ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE of such assignment.
The Judge sentenced him to 20 years in prison for this. This is simply a travesty of justice and a dark spot in our criminal justice system.
The future is indeed pregnant. We have always as a Party emerged stronger when we seem to have been written off. The resilience of the elephant has never been in doubt ..
We Are the NPP and We Are Irrepressible!

Justice must not only be done. It must be seen to be done. When so many rules and guidelines are overlooked in the quest to secure a speedy conviction we do not only harm our perceived enemies today but we do irreparable harm to our justice delivery system, ultimately undermining the trust the good people of this country have in our judiciary
Chairman Antwi Boasiako is a victim of a government in dire need of a scapegoat to distract from the train wreck of a government.
It may be Wontumi today, it could be YOU tomorrow.
The Ghanaian people are the ultimate judges. 🙏🏽
Who are the members of the President’s party who are engaged in galamsey and known to the President ….
What has happened to Yussif Joseph Yasmin, the NDC National Organizer, and others?
Justice cannot be selective. 🔴⚪️🔵

They want to celebrate Chairman Wontumi’s conviction and call it “the fight against illegal mining.”
Yet NDC bigwigs are supervising galamsey in our forests today.

Our courts must be guided by evidence, not rumors.
In Chairman Wontumi’s case, no evidence was led against him. His documents were proper and accepted by the court.
But the Judge went ahead and convicted him based on hearsay, not facts. 🔴⚪️🔵🇬🇭

We respect the courts, but we also respect the Constitution.
To us, the judge’s decision amounts to political imprisonment. Every citizen has the right to disagree and seek justice through due process.
We will exhaust all legal means to fight for Chairman Wontumi. 🔴⚪️🔵🇬🇭
