@chartdata IF you just included the short years of the Beatles in the 1960s, 6 to a 7 year period. That would be 118 weeks. Taylor Swift at 98 still falls short of it after 17 years! . Even if we eliminate this metric, the Beatles are a singular event in pop rock history that is unequaled.

@Itsjoeetho @chartdata The Beatles are the largest pop phenomena even if they didn't have those weeks on the billboard. The market then was much smaller, access was only via the radio and if you went out and purchased what you liked. They came right at the perfect time.

@CatholicArena This should have been handled differently. He prefaced this with "It is my personal belief"...the Church hasn't firmly decided on this issue and he offered his thoughts. If others disagree they should bring it out into open discussion.
