It's been 20 years since Korey Stringer died during an NFL training camp. Ephedra--which was implicated in his death--was banned as a result. Do you think this episode helped the industry get better? Or was ephedra a scapegoat for a tragic case of fatal heatstroke?
@SeifertESPN Korey Stringer's name still reverberates within the supplement biz. Ephedra, a plant-based weight loss product, was implicated in his death. As a result all of these products were banned for being allegedly unsafe. You mention cutting weight but not ephedra. Thoughts?
Twenty years later, I wrote about all of the good that has come from one of the worst days in NFL history. "In my opinion, what happened to Korey will never happen in the NFL again." (1/7) https://t.co/tvEo98XSpz
@kathrynw5 Is this a serious comment? Or just an attempt to whip up activity on your Twitter account to improve your numbers? I take it you consider yourself a serious reporter; do some research, then comment. This comment as it stands is so shallow it's hard to know where to start.
