📍Kigali | Africa CEO Forum 2026
How does a continent move from potential to scale? This was the question driving the @africaceoforum 2026 in Kigali, where OCP Group added its voice to a continental conversation framed by the theme “Scale or Fail: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership.”
Through @OCP_Africa and @UM6P_officiel, the Group’s participation reflected two strategic dimensions for the continent’s development: strengthening African agricultural value chains and building the integrated digital infrastructure of tomorrow’s African economies.
On the agricultural front, Hajar Alafifi, CEO of OCP Africa, took part in the panel “Unyielding Growth: Tackling Africa’s Agricultural Midstream Challenge”, where she shared a clear conviction: Africa holds close to 60% of the world’s arable land, yet still imports around USD 100 billion of food every year. Closing this gap calls for an integrated approach that goes well past fertilizer supply, combining soil analysis, agronomic innovation, mechanization, customized inputs, and stronger market linkages for farmers.
Scaling Africa starts with uniting forces, around shared investments, shared infrastructure, and shared regulation.
#ACF2026 #AfricaCEOForum
OCP Group joined the #AfricaForwardSummit, a joint initiative by Kenya and France, bringing together Heads of State, business leaders, innovators, youth, entrepreneurs and civil society around a renewed partnership between France and Africa.
Rooted in Morocco and active across Africa, the Group brings to this dialogue extensive experience in continental partnerships and a vision of cooperation that connects Africa with the rest of the world.
Our message at the Summit: Africa cannot transform its agriculture if it remains mainly an exporter of raw commodities and an importer of finished products. The real opportunity lies in building value chains that retain more value on the continent, from inputs and production to processing, logistics and market access.
This is the ambition driving the Group’s ecosystem approach, from soil intelligence and customized crop nutrition to local blending capacity across the continent, advancing food security and more resilient food systems for Africa.
The soil is one of our most powerful tools for climate action.
Through #Tourba, a venture developed by @innovxofficial, we support farmers in adopting regenerative agricultural practices that capture carbon from the atmosphere while opening access to carbon credit markets.
By 2035, @OCPGroup aims to empower 6 million hectares to generate new income streams, enabled by our proprietary, AI-led measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) technology. This is how we are scaling a regenerative economy — rooted in science, soil health, and shared value.
The future is firmly rooted in the soil.
Plant health is the foundation of every food system, and the first line of global food security 🌱
It defines crop quality, supports ecosystems, and sustains livelihoods across the value chain.
On the International Day of Plant Health, the mission remains clear. Advancing healthier, more resilient crops through science, innovation, and responsible nutrient management.
When plants thrive, stronger systems emerge.
Precision is the new frontier of global food security.
At @OCPGroup, we are redefining how fertilizers are used – moving beyond one-size-fits-all solutions toward data-driven, customized plant nutrition. Through Nutrient Stewardship and the 4R Framework (Right source, Right rate, Right time, Right place), every nutrient serves a clear and measurable purpose.
This precision in phosphorus management enables high-yield harvests while safeguarding soil health and essential natural processes like nitrogen fixation – proving that productivity and environmental stewardship can advance together.
#4RFramework
Every thriving ecosystem is built on people.
At @OCPGroup, people are the foundation of everything we do, ensuring continuity, driving innovation, and creating long-term impact across our value chain.
Through a structured approach to employment, talent development, and inclusion, we embed their contribution into every part of our operations, guided by principles of human rights, safety, and mutual respect.
This Labor Day, we recognize the women and men who turn responsibility into performance, and ambition into lasting value.
