Planning for the weekend? 🗓️Just a heads-up that we’re tracking more potential showers for Saturday afternoon and Sunday. While rainfall looks spotty, keep the umbrellas dusted off for now.
They grow up so fast 🥲. Last week, biologists performed a wellness check on Lucy and Ricky’s eaglets. We’re happy to report all three (two girls and a boy) are healthy.
Our team had a blast at this year’s Children’s Water Education Festival, where we had the opportunity to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards and future leaders of water!
We connected with hundreds of enthusiastic 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, teaching them about the water cycle, how everyday actions impact water resources, and simple ways to conserve, like identifying and fixing common household leaks.
Through our “Seek the Sneaky Leak” activity, students saw firsthand how even small leaks can add up to significant water waste over time.
A big thank you to our partners at @ocwaterdistrict for their continued leadership in hosting this impactful event. We’re already looking forward to next year!

What?? Rain??
Don't get too excited...we're only going to see light rainfall, with most places expecting anywhere from 0.01-0.20", accumulating between Thursday and Saturday. While not enough rain to ruin plans, it will make roads slick, so drive with caution! #cawx
Today, the GWRS celebrates 18 years of water reliability. Join OCWD and @ocsandistrict in raising a glass to its anniversary, and to another impressive milestone: half a trillion gallons of ultra-pure water!
