The kids from the school nearby never miss a chance to hype them up — so yesterday, we returned the favor with a surprise: hats for our biggest supporters.
Safe to say… they loved it ❤️
Every morning at Station 21, something special happens. While firefighters push through their workouts, they’ve got a whole crew of little cheerleaders next door 🧑🚒👏
🚁We’re leading the way in Orange County!🔥
This month we opened of our new helicopter pad in San Clemente — a vital step in enhancing our readiness and response for our communities.
Why this matters:
•These aircraft let us cover wildland, coastal, urban-interface and remote rescue scenarios with unmatched speed.
•The new helipad in San Clemente means faster vertical lift access closer to critical zones in South County.

Thanks to the dedication of your union firefighters, E46 is now staffed with four firefighters. This increase in staffing—made possible by a federal grant spearheaded by Local 3631—saved lives, reduced property damage, and increased firefighter safety.

It's #NationalNursesWeek! 🩺 Did you know that OCFA has Nurse Educators?
The team is made up of six Nurse Educators and a Nurse Educator Supervisor who assist in delivering EMS training and curriculum to our firefighter paramedics.
The 911 phone rang in our Emergency Command Center (ECC) one recent afternoon. On the other end was Sue, a homeowner trapped by a raging fire below her. Thick, choking smoke filled her two-story home, and the heat was closing in. Her call was a desperate plea for help. >>

🔥Help support the family of LODD Kevin Skinner🔥
You can make a difference by donating to the Fallen Firefighter Relief Fund, which will help support the family of Fire Apparatus Engineer Kevin Skinner.
The Fallen Firefighter Relief Fund was created in memory of 2 OC Fire Authority firefighters lost in the line of duty in 1998. It was established & administered by OC Firefighters, Local 3631 to offer financial assistance to firefighters and their families in Orange County & CA.
Units from the OCFA escorted Fire Apparatus Engineer Kevin Skinner from Mission Hospital to the Coroner’s Office yesterday. It gives the family and all of us at the OCFA great comfort to see the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
