We were pleased to welcome H.E. Ambassador Dmitry Polyanskiy, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE, to the @OSCEBiH .
The visit provided an opportunity to present the Mission’s work and activities across #BiH, as well as to discuss our ongoing efforts in support of security, human rights, democratic governance, and the rule of law.

Our thoughts today are with the families of victims and survivors as we remember and honour the 114 civilians killed at Uborak, Sutina and Zalik near Mostar in 1992, one of the gravest crimes committed against civilians in Herzegovina.

The @OSCEBiH signed today the Co-operation Plan with the @MSBosnia, reaffirming our strong partnership and shared commitment to advancing the country’s security priorities.
Building on successful co-operation in areas such as law enforcement reform, border security, cybersecurity, and combating organized crime, this Plan provides a framework for continued collaboration, dialogue, and sustainable capacity development.
We thank the Ministry and its agencies for their constructive engagement and look forward to continuing our partnership.

OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina otvara JAVNU AUKCIJU za prodaju tri (3) korištena vozila.

Aukcija će se vršiti putem podnošenja pismenih ponuda u zatvorenoj koverti.

Vozila se mogu pogledati na parkingu iza UNITIC nebodera, adresa Fra Andjela Zvizdovića 1, Sarajevo, u periodu od 11:00 do 15:00 sati u srijedu i četvrtak 17. i 18. juna 2026. godine.

Svi zainteresovani mogu se obratiti Misiji OSCE-a u BiH i zatražiti detalje o postupku aukcije i uslovima prodaje na e-mail: [email protected].

Obrazac za podnošenje ponude i uslovi prodaje će se moći preuzeti i sa web stranice https://t.co/xCwHLivryg ili lično prilikom razgledanja vozila.

Detaljno stanje vozila će biti dostupno u pisanoj formi za svako pojedinačno vozilo (zadnji urađen servis, opšte stanje vozila sa eventualnim specifičnostima, eventualne veće popravke i sl.).

Ponude se predaju isključivo u zatvorenoj koverti na adresu ureda MISIJE OSCE-a u BiH POSLOVNI CENTAR UNITIC, FRA ANĐELA ZVIZDOVIĆA 1,71 000 Sarajevo, do ponedjeljka, 29. juna 2025. godine do 12:00 sati po lokalnom vremenu. Na koverti treba da je jasno naznačena šifra: OSCE-VS-01-2026.

Ponude putem e-maila ili faksa neće biti razmatrane.

Earlier this week, we took part in Neum Leadership Forum organised by @UN_BiH @unwomenbih @UNFPABiH @UNDPBiH.

Addressing the Forum, @oscebih Chief of Policy and Planning, Maja Handžiska Trendafilova, delivered a strong message of support for women assembly members, mayors, and political party leaders who face online harassment, threats, and abuse.

Political debate must be grounded in respect, dialogue, and open exchange of ideas rather than intimidation, hate speech, or violence. When women in politics are targeted through online abuse, hate speech, or incitement to violence, it not only harms individuals but also weakens democratic participation and the quality of public discourse. Such acts must be effectively addressed and sanctioned by the competent authorities.

The OSCE Mission to BiH reaffirms its commitment to promoting a political environment where all voices can participate freely and safely, and where respect, inclusion, accountability, and democratic dialogue prevail.

At the Neum Forum on Political Leadership & Gender Equality, BiH, Montenegro & Serbia MPs discussed moving from representation to meaningful participation - through solidarity, safer spaces & action against online violence.

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮, @NorwayAmbOSCE 𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐧, 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 @NorwayOSCE, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐒𝐂𝐄 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐳𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐚.

From discussions with Mission staff and partners to meetings with institutions and civil society representatives, the visit offered an opportunity to discuss some of the key challenges and opportunities facing Bosnia and Herzegovina today.

Constructive exchange today between @OSCEBiH Ambassador Rick Holtzapple and newly appointed @natobih HQ Sarajevo Commander, Brig. Gen. James C. Fowler. They exchanged views on the current situation in 🇧🇦 and reaffirmed the importance of continued co-operation in promoting #security, #stability and #resilience across the country.

Danas smo u Bosanskom Petrovcu, u okviru projekta „Možemo bolje“, zajedno s lokalnim vlastima, civilnim društvom i međunarodnim partnerima, održali radionicu Dijalog o društvenoj koheziji. Kroz otvorenu diskusiju i grupni rad, učesnici su podijelili pozitivna iskustva u zajednici, identificirali ključne izazove i razvili prijedloge inicijativa brzog učinka usmjerene na jačanje povjerenja, saradnje i društvene kohezije. Aktivnost je organizirana u okviru projekta “Možemo bolje”, koji finansira Evropska unija, a zajednički provode @eubih, @UN_BiH, @oscebih i @CoE_Sarajevo.

Today in #Kakanj, we marked the #WorldDayforCulturalDiversity for Dialogue and Development by considering diversity as a source of strength that fosters dialogue, trust and community cohesion.
Young people, civil society organizations, schools and citizens attended the event dedicated to cultural diversity through preserving traditions and sharing experiences.
“Diversity is something we build upon to strengthen trust, inclusion and stronger communities,” said Head of Field Office Travnik #OSCEBiH Magdalena Stanczyk.

Good to hear about the continued interest and support of the United States Congress for Bosnia-Herzegovina’s future and stability.
