Matthew 7:7-8 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened."
@JustinPetersMin@howertonjosh Ah yes, Justin, I too love publicly disparaging other believers I disagree with in certain areas that are making moves for the kingdom of Heaven so that I can signal I'm the superior Christian. You are modeling Jesus's tenets of pride and ego wonderfully with this post sir!
@BreitbartNews Feminists: "Women are just as capable as men! We should be in every career and space a man is in because we are strong and capable!"
Also feminists: "Give us paid time off every month because our bodies natural cycle is too much to bear and it wouldn't be fair to not get paid."
Might be an unpopular opinion on here but replacing a concert with a speech is lame and boring. Just go out and get real musicians to play. Don’t cancel the concert just because a bunch of washed up old has-beens canceled. There are hundreds of artists out there who might not be famous but would absolutely leap at the chance to play on a stage like this.
@nosoup4knowles Yes and no. Millennials and gen Z aren't as frugal, sure, but home price-to-income ratios are much wider. It's hard to live like boomers when homes built 60 years ago cost the same as the new construction suburban home. There is no humble affordable home market.
I'm sure you intentionally misquoted Erika in this video for the express purpose of driving engagement, but I'll participate anyway.
It's not unsurprising at all that someone outside the faith cannot comprehend the concept of being FAR MORE content with being a part of God's plan and resting with Jesus than coming back to life on earth.
The scales of pride prevent you from seeing it. I pray it's revealed to you someday though.
