It’s always fun to see how even my oldest students light up when a balloon comes out!
Balloon bop is one of our favorite quick warm ups in our striking unit. It gets everyone moving, smiling, and working together.

Boo, tag was the perfect game to go with our story,“ The Little Ghost Who Lost Her Boo.” 👻 🎃 📕
If tagged, switch with the person who tagged you. If you are in a hoop, you are safe, but if someone else says BOO, you must jump out.
Embrace the spin!! When all they want to do their first time in the gym is to spin on the floor, you put on the Jim Gill’s Spin Again song and let them spin…while working on listening and starting & stopping! #mhepe#risdmoves#risddreambig#physed
Another great day using at @OPENPhysEd resources! Sort Yourselves by color than number with zero verbal communication. 3rd-5th loved it! Then played Fitness Uno from the Plug & Play module!

My K-5 Yearly Plan. This is the 2-1-1 method. Each skill theme 2 weeks the 1st time, then revisited again for 1 week, then 1 more week. A few exceptions, but I’ve found this “distributed practice” model most effective for my students. We have #physed 2X a week (47 min classes).
Check out our 1st-graders getting some #FieldDay practice today! We will have 18 stations on field day, but only working on 5 today. So far though they’re a hit! #1WeekAway#PhysEd
Yesterday I shared with you a striking game called "Ultimate Baseball " that i used with my 3rd and 4th grade. I want to show what I do with my K-2 S's called "Partner Baseball" - a game I learned from @exercys. When they hit the ball, the fielder tries to field the ball and beat the batter to the Cone

🐰Egg-cellent Delivery🐰
Ss are working on rolling in #physed today. Roll the egg (ball) into the basket (hoop) to fill the basket for delivery. If successful, collect the basket to bring back. Most baskets wins.
