We aim to create a harassment-free nation by eliminating various forms of harassment including sexual abuse and harassment that girls and women face in TZ.
I am not proud that young people have to wake up worried about fighting GBV instead of dreaming and thriving but I am proud that they have decided to become the change they want to see with the support of @OvahTanzania. through the Elimika na Mwajuma storytelling competition.
On this day we also celebrate our belief in empowering girls to take charge of their narratives, inspiring change and advocating for a future free from Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.

On this Saturday, OVAH will be commemorating International Girl Child day with students, teachers and parents from one of our impactful projects : Elimika na Mwajuma : Championing for Safe Schools.
These bright young minds will use the power of storytelling to creatively express their unique voices and lived experiences for the co-creation of our upcoming episodes of #ElimikanaMwajuma Series.
"Girls’ Vision for the Future". Girls everywhere are calling for urgent action, and their voices are shaping a brighter, more equal world. At OVAH, we stand with them to ensure their vision becomes reality—where their rights are protected, and their futures are limitless. 💪✨
It wasn’t all serious – we made sure to have some fun, too! Here are some cute moments from our Chicken Dance icebreaker during the storytelling workshop last FRIDAY. 😊

During our storytelling workshop, students had the opportunity to rewatch the "Elimika na Mwajuma" animation, which sheds light on three critical issues of SGBV: Rape Culture, Sexual Corruption, and Early Marriage.
The session was enriched by a lively discussion on these key themes, led by our team member, @Janeth , where students actively shared their insights and reflections. #SafeSchools#OvahTanzania#ElimikanaMwajuma
