Good news! The website is FINALLY back to functionality! Hosting company finally just gave me a complete backup from late 2023 and I was able to cajole it into working enough to get stuff updated and back to being stable.

This also includes the menu art gallery. I may coordinate with some folks that have continued buying various BDs after I stepped away so that I can get those added to the gallery at some point in the near future.

@dfafed676 Not likely. Not only due to a lack of time, but the upscale Toei did on it is atrocious and poorly overcropped compared to the DVDs. I have been trying to see if I can eke out better upscales from the DVDs but so far, the results aren't great because of the crappy MPEG2 encoding.

Cookin' up the finishing touches on those Drive specials. Hopefully everyone's looking forward to those dropping in the next few days or so. It's gonna be one big batch with all of them together because there's no point in releasing them individually.

@Peachyest_ Maybe they finished the effects work in SD since it was destined for a DVD and so they cheaped out and now it only exists in SD without redoing it ala Kuuga, which they also didn't bother to do.

Just sucks they didn't mention it in the BD listing.

@Spindash54 I don't know why they would, I can't imagine them shooting it with anything but the same cameras for the series. Maybe the effects work was finished in SD so that's all they have now.

@Peachyest_ I'm just not sure why it would have ever been shot at anything but HD when the rest of the show and all these other extras were. Just doesn't make much sense. Unless Toei lost the HD master for it and had no other option.

On the other hand, High Speed, Lupin, and Zero are all native and look fine. Tokujo and Brain are already known to be native anyway.

@Spindash54 @Phantom245Power Probably, just by nature of having AVC encoding so less macroblocking. Odds are the 720p version will probably be the sweet spot for this one.
