It's hard to believe Crimson was just smaller than this squash! When he first arrived, 3-week-old Crimson was emaciated and unable to stand due to injuries to his back leg.
He still has a long road of recovery ahead, but heโs come a long way. โค๏ธ

Weโre also celebrating 7 amazing years of the black-crowned night heron as Oaklandโs official bird! We are here to help them flourish in their urban habitat.
Our wolf pack just turned 7! ๐บ๐
To celebrate, they enjoyed their favorite part of their carnivorous diet: animal carcasses! To make their birthday extra special, their keepers hid their food amongst a travel-themed array of decorations. ๐บ๏ธ

Recently, Pagi sun bearโs keepers found a mass on the inside of her leg. With the help of specialists, our vet team was able to surgically remove the mass and we are happy to report that Pagi is now cancer-free!
