To My Lover, Foluke.
Great has been the journey of walking side by side with you. And so today, on your 78th birthday, is a gift to me, to have the world join me in doing what I have spent 58 years doing: celebrating you.
With you, the weight of the assignment has always been a lighter cross to carry. Our two have agreed, and so our walking together has been of divine stride, a race continuously illuminated, step after step, decade after decade. My path shines brighter because I walk it with you.
Many people know you as Mummy G.O. I have the privilege of knowing you simply as my wife, my friend, and the person who has stood with me through every challenge, every victory, and every assignment God has given us. I have watched you give strength to others even when you were tired yourself. I have seen your quiet sacrifices, your compassion, your wisdom, and your unwavering trust in God. Those are the things that make me thank God for you every day.
Our children have been blessed because of your love. The family of God has been blessed because of your devotion. Countless homes have been strengthened because you answered God’s call with all your heart.
Seventy-eight years of your life, fifty-eight years of them beside me, and still I find new reasons to thank God for you. You have been wife, counsel, and companion in every sense the word was ever meant to hold.
As you celebrate today, my prayer is simple. May the God whom you have served so faithfully continue to uphold you. May He surround you with His peace, fill your days with fresh joy, strengthen your body, renew your strength, and continue to satisfy you with His goodness. May the years ahead be even more fruitful than those behind, and may you continue to see the mighty hand of God at work in your life.
Thank you for walking hand in hand with me. Happy 78th birthday, my love.
Your loving husband,
Pastor E. A. Adeboye
@PastorFAAdeboye
Happiest and glorious 78th birthday to our dearest Mummy-GO @PastorFAAdeboye ! 🎂 🎊 🎉 🎁 🎈
We call you Mom-indeed because of how exemplary of motherhood you have been through the decades.
What a priceless Gift your life has been to the Body of Christ, to our nation, and to generations across the world!
Today, we celebrate not only the passing of another year, but your remarkable legacy of love, humility, sacrifice, and obedience to the His calling.
Through tireless prayers, dedicated care for families, passion for missions, and your investment in children and young people, you have inspired us to serve the Father without growing weary.
I pray that these your latter years shall be filled with even greater fruitfulness, joy, divine health, peace, and supernatural strength. As it is written, “They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing” (Psalm 92:14). The Lord shall continually renew your youth like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31), surround you with His favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12), and grant you the joy of seeing generations rise to call you Blessed!!! (Proverbs 31:28).
We love you deeply, honor you sincerely, and thank God continually for the immeasurable blessing that your life is to our generation.
Thank you for mothering so many of us with grace.
With heartfelt love and prayers.💝🤗
Indescribably joyful for one to see the children and adults of the Oriire kidnap regain their freedom!
Praise God for their lives….. their resilience and congratulations to their families.
They all need urgent psycho-social care, please.

Dear Alex @winexviv,
Hearty congratulations to all outstanding Nigerian champions who recorded wins in Mathematics and Science as well as you and the entire Educare family at the 2026 Olympiad! This is exactly the kind of excellence Nigeria needs. The laurels achieved by our children are proofs that when we invest in our young minds, they rise to meet the world.
You are building something that truly matters. Keep raising these champions; the nation is watching, and it is proud.
With deep admiration,
Oby🦾🥇🏆😃✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾
With these words, Ms. Zainab Hawa Bangura, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Nairobi, closed her Keynote Address to the SPPG Kenya Class of 2026 and the weight of them lingered.
@ZainabHawa posed a question to the room: fifty years from now, will someone stand before another graduating class and tell the story of a leader who transformed an African nation through integrity, education, and public service, and will that story be about Kenya?
The answer, she said, depends entirely on the choices this generation makes. Not in parliaments alone, but in classrooms, county assemblies, community halls, boardrooms, and in the quiet moments when each leader must decide between what is easy and what is right.
Pioneer Class of 2026, history is watching. Choose differently.

"The field is never empty. If the honest do not occupy it, the dishonest will. If the competent do not contest it, the cynical will conquer it by default."
Closing her Founder's Address, Dr. Obiageli "Oby" Ezekwesili gave the SPPG Kenya Class of 2026 a warning that carries the full weight of her own lived experience:
"power will come with pressure, with temptation, with the quiet offer of comfort in exchange for compromise. And those who benefit from a broken system will not fight fairly."
@obyezeks closing charge to the #SPPGKenyaClassof2026;
"You are not permitted to surrender the field. That is the covenant you entered when you joined SPPG."
#SPPGKenya #FixPolitics #ClassOf2026 #RisingToChallenge #Graduation #Leadership #Governance #SPPG
Dr. Obiageli "Oby" Ezekwesili(@obyezeks) grounded the celebration in a sobering truth that lies at the core of SPPG's founding mission.
Africa's governance crisis, she argued, is not a competence crisis alone. It is a character crisis. Skills without values do not produce better leaders, they produce more capable ones who serve the wrong ends.
That is precisely why SPPG was built differently: to train leaders whose competence is always anchored in character, and whose capacity is always directed by conscience.
The Class of 2026 graduates today as living proof of that commitment.

In her Founder's Address, Dr. Obiageli "Oby" Ezekwesili did not speak about integrity in the abstract. She spoke from the cost of it. From years of being called "Madame Due Process" not always as a compliment.
From the moment @obyezeks stood before the Nigerian public and withdrew her own name from a presidential ballot rather than compromise her values.
From the reality that those who benefit from a broken system will fight hardest to keep it broken, and they will not fight fairly.
To the Class of 2026, her message was clear:
"SPPG has given you values and the tools to act on them. When you hold the line, and it will cost you, you become the rarest thing Africa has. A leader who cannot be bought."

In one of the most striking passages of the Founder's Address at the SPPG Kenya Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony, Dr. Obiageli "Oby" Ezekwesili named a contradiction that many Kenyans feel but rarely hear articulated so directly.
Kenya produces world-class talent in sport, technology, finance, and innovation. Yet on governance indices, it ranks alongside nations whose challenges run far deeper.
@obyezeks diagnosis was precise:
"this is not a talent gap. It is the consequence of a political arena that has been deliberately closed to merit and captured by those whose interest lies in keeping it that way."
That is precisely why SPPG Kenya exists and why the Pioneer Class of 2026, the first cohort deliberately trained to carry Kenya's world-class standard into its politics, graduates today carrying an uncommon responsibility.

The Founder's Address at the SPPG Kenya Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony carried the full weight of why this institution exists.
"Each time I look at the younger generation of our continent, I think to myself: we just have to get it right."
Dr. Obiageli "Oby" Ezekwesili(@obyezeks), Founder of #FixPolitics (@fixpoliticsnig) and @TheSPPG Africa, watched the SPPG Kenya Class of 2026 march in holding their flags, and felt the full weight of what this moment means for a continent that cannot afford to repeat its past.
The pain that drove her from the World Bank into the streets of Abuja, that kept her there for years crying for stolen schoolgirls, that pushed her to research, to build, to found, all of it culminated in this room, in this graduating class.
This is not a school built from ambition. It was built from urgency.
#SPPGKenya #FixPolitics #ClassOf2026 #RisingToChallenge #Graduation #Leadership #Governance #SPPG
Ms. Zainab Hawa Bangura(@ZainabHawa) drew on the words of former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan to frame the true nature of leadership.
Leadership, she reminded the graduating class, is lived in the choices made when no one is watching, choosing integrity when corruption appears easier, service over self-interest, courage over convenience, and long-term national interest over short-term political gain.
Every generation is remembered for the choices it makes.
The Class of 2026 now begins to make theirs.

This is more than a graduation. It is a commissioning.
Addressing the SPPG Kenya Class of 2026, CEO of SPPG Africa Madam Alero Ayida-Otobo(@ReformersArise) declared:
"You are now part of a movement of leaders who are unafraid to stand differently, who are not afraid to serve sacrificially, and to dream audaciously."
Carry this light forward. The world, the continent, is waiting.
#SPPGKenya #ClassOf2026 #RisingToChallenge
Words that stopped the room.
In her address at the SPPG Kenya Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony, CEO of SPPG Africa, Madam Alero Ayida-Otobo(@ReformersArise), charged the graduating class with these words:
"Let your leadership roar with integrity. Let your service roar with compassion. Let your vision roar with boldness."
To the Class of 2026 the continent is waiting for your roar.
#SPPGKenya #ClassOf2026 #RisingToChallenge
Amb. Erastus J. Mwencha(@Erastus_Mwencha) further outlined the three interconnected streams that define the #FixPolitics fellowship the Class of 2026 is now entering:
🔹 Work Study Group 1 - Building an empowered, informed, and active citizenry.
🔹 Work Study Group 2 - Creating a pipeline of value-based, competent leaders (the stream we celebrate today).
🔹 Work Study Group 3 - Driving reforms that strengthen systemic regulations and public institutions.
Three streams. One mission. A continent to transform.

The opening remarks set the tone perfectly.
In his address at the SPPG Kenya Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony, Amb. Erastus J. Mwencha(@Erastus_Mwencha), Chair of #FixPolitics Kenya, reminded the graduating class that today is not a conclusion, it is a transition.
A transition into lifelong continental responsibility, into an enduring and powerful fellowship under the umbrella of #FixPolitics Kenya.
The journey does not end here. It begins.
