The countdown to the 7th Odisha Travel Bazaar (OTB) 2026 has officially begun.

Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Pravati Parida announced the 7th edition of Odisha’s premier B2B tourism platform at a pre-event press conference in Bhubaneswar.

Organised by the Department of Tourism in association with FICCI, OTB 2026 will be held from 3–5 October 2026 at Mayfair Sanctuary, Bhubaneswar.

Bringing together international tour operators from 27 countries, domestic buyers from 32 cities, 92 private-company exhibitors , 500 investors and intending investors , 30 big hospitality brands and 6,000+ pre-scheduled B2B meetings, OTB 2026 is set to create new avenues for partnerships, business, investment and tourism-led opportunities.

From heritage and spirituality to wildlife, tribal traditions, pristine beaches, nature and cuisine, OTB 2026 will bring Odisha’s diverse tourism experiences to audiences across India and the world.

Indian cuisine conversations often revolve around Punjabi, South Indian or Bengali food. Odiya cuisine deserves a much bigger place on that table.
What struck me most was its restraint. No overload of cream, butter or chillies. Just balance, mustard, fermentation, texture and freshness.
Dahi Bara Aloo Dum (popular street food), Drumstick-Brinjal Besara, Chhena Tarkari, Chakuli Pitha (like dosa) Aloo Patra Besara… all made at home.

The inaugural ceremony of Mahendragiri Eco Adventure Fest 2026 came alive with a stellar gathering—graced by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Smt. Pravati Parida; in the presence of, Shri Kamadev Badanayak, Hon’ble Chairman, SDC, Gajapati; Shri Dasarathi Gamango, Hon’ble MLA, Mohana; Shri Rupesh Kumar Panigrahi, Hon’ble MLA, Paralakhemundi; Shri Balwant Singh, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of Tourism; and Shri Keerthi Pais, Secretary, IMF.

From the ceremonial flag-off and the first climb, flagging of Mountain Biking Challenge, to vibrant cultural moments and the prize distribution, the day was a perfect melange of energy and celebration. The IMF was felicitated by the Hon’ble Deputy CM—marking a proud moment where passion, partnership, and hard work truly paid off.
