MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! Keep the Hot Dog Glass Night Round 3 is coming up Sunday June 7th. The first two times we did this event the response was so overwhelming that this time around we had to move it to a Sunday to accommodate the demand.
The Beer for Tacos family is growing!
We took our margarita inspired gose and, wa-la, turned it into a mango margarita inspired gose. And it’s releasing today at Mousetrap. On draft and in 4pks to-go. #chicagobeer#offcolorbrewing
We can’t say with 100% certainty that this is Sprinkles the duck who nested on @ocmousetrap patio two years ago, but we also can’t say with 100% certainty that this is not Sprinkles the duck who nested on our patio two years ago. Do with that what you will.
Beer for Hot Dogs Keep the Glass! Coming up next Sunday!! Party starts at 11am.
This sweet Kolsch Stange has wraparound printing so you can run, you can hide, but you’ll never get away from the sausage skewer wielding floating mice 🐭🌭
Here’s your first look at the new Beer for Hot Dog Kolsch Stanges!! Inspired by the floating elephants on the iconic Delirium Tremens glassware, hot dog skewer wielding floating mice cover this new wrap around printed glass in a display of meat sweat induced delirium.
This glass will be available as part of our Keep the Hot Dog Glass celebration on Sunday, June 7th from 11am until 10pm. Driftless Prairie Market will be on-site slinging hot dogs and we’ll have new Beer for Hot Dogs shirts and hats as well.
This beer is fairly limited, so Friday’s release will be can only. Looking ahead we’ll be tapping Beer for Kicks on Thursday June 11th as the World Cup kicks off and then again on Thursday June 18th for a Beer for Kicks inspired keep the glass night. So mark your calendars.
Beer for Kicks releases Friday at noon!
The perfect pitch side companion from the opening whistle to the final penalty kick, this amber lager is crushable with a noble, turfy hop profile that balances a malt presence whose nuttiness is only outdone by a gang of hooligans.
Bringing an Off Color spin, and some nuance to the well-attenuated ‘international’ style Amber lager, we added demerara turbinado sugar which provides toffee & honey notes. While adding sugar to a brew can lighten the flavor, this under processed sugar adds depth of flavor.
Despite being beefed up with honey and brown sugar, it remains devilishly drinkable as you and your friend gather around the grill. Available at the taproom and around town. #chicagobeer#offcolorbrewing
Beer for this weekend.
If you missed it, Beer for BBQ recently released at the taproom. This beer is the ultimate cookout companion. Crafted to complement rich flavors with sweet honey and savory aromas, hints of smoky pine, and enough bitterness to cut through the fat.

First pH1 barrel update many months ago was “there’s beer in it.”
Second update, we branded the barrel. Lot of pressure there for sure 😅 photo at the end is all of the practice attempts on a port barrel 😂
Just tapped a saved keg of Raspberry Beer for Golf for tonight’s beer/tea discussion & tasting (there’s still room if you’d like to attend. Message us if interested).
This should be on a couple days this week and then it’s gone since, sadly, it is not on the schedule this year.
