Today, @HYPREPNigeria paid homage to the Paramount Rulers of Korokoro and Nonwa Communities, King GNK Gininwa, and HRH Mene Emmanuel Nyiedam. The visit at their respective palace signals the mobilisation of contractors to the community for the flagoff of the water project.

The contractors are expected to enter site in the coming days and begin construction to provide water before the year's end.

At the meeting were the Khana Chairman, representated by the Secretary, the HYPREP team led by Mr. kpobari Nafo, and representatives of the communities.

@HYPREPNigeria today paid homage to Bori and Kpean, host communities for the rehabilitation and construction of new water facilities in Ogoniland. The @UNEP Report recommended the provision of potable water supply to hydrocarbon impacted communities of Ogoniland.
