It was a privilege to be part of the Wayne-Holmes Right to Life (Ohio) Townhall on Abortion Pill Reversal! Bekah Hilty of Pregnancy Care Center of Wayne County, State Rep. Meredith Craig, Pastor Walter Moss, and Ohio Right to Life Executive Director Carrie Snyder each discussed aspects of abortion pill reversal and the need to increase public awareness about this process.
The primary abortion pill, mifepristone, stops progesterone in a woman's body, cutting off nutrition to the baby. If a woman takes the first pill and regrets it--which is common--she can seek out help from https://t.co/migRweAXm2 which will connect her to medical support to determine if there is still a window of time to help. The reversal process only involves restoring progesterone to her body and is not dangerous to her health. Studies estimate that if reversal starts in time, over 60% of babies can be saved.
Why do Americans seek out abortions?
The top reasons you hear when this is debated are things like preventing incest, dealing with rape, and the health of the baby.
Those are among the least common reported motivations for elective abortion.
Today, Legislative Director Katie DeLand testified in support of HB 324, the Patient Protection Act, which would require in-person visits to receive medication that has a higher than 5% severe adverse reaction rate.
Patients already have an in-person relationship with a doctor if they are taking a medication that has a high rate of serious side effects. One notable exception: mifepristone, the drug that causes a chemical abortion. This is often prescribed via telehealth, and women are left to a DIY abortion, alone, with reports showing severe side effects requiring a visit to the emergency room for over 10% of women who ingest it.
🚨BREAKING: The White House just launched https://t.co/ASTdYJGipY, connecting women with REAL life-affirming support and resources. This is what the Pro-Life Movement has been asking for for YEARS.
Turns out we never “just cared about a clump of cells.” We care about women, babies, families, housing, healthcare, diapers, support systems, ALL OF IT.
Share this everywhere. Women deserve to know abortion is not the only option!
Thank you, @RobertKennedyJr!
And while we’re at it, on July 4th, Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer funding is set to be reinstated. It’s time to permanently tell the organization that makes 400,000 women the mothers of dead babies every year to go fund themselves.
BREAKING:
The White House launched https://t.co/8ukGDBPljk, a new website connecting women with life-affirming support.
Abortion tells a woman she must kill her child to succeed. THAT IS A LIE.
Mothers deserve hope, help, and real care. Every child deserves the chance to live.

🚨BREAKING: Victory for Life! U.S. Fifth Circuit blocks Biden abortion regime that facilitated the death of thousands of Louisiana babies through mail-order abortion pills.
The Biden abortion cartel facilitated the deaths of thousands of Louisiana babies (and millions in other states) through illegal mail-order abortion pills. Today, that nightmare is over, thanks to the hard work of my office and our friends at @ADFLegal. I look forward to continuing to defend women and babies as this case continues.
