“Before my administration came, there has been No new infrastructure built in Lagos in the last 30 years” - Babatunde Fashola (2010 speech)
When I said Tinubu built close to NOTHING with the huge finances in Lagos in 8 years, it’s no a joke. 📌
Oh RAT! Remi ooo, comparing Nigeria’s flight prices to America while ignoring our crushing poverty and the lowest minimum wage in decades is pure gaslighting. The hardship Nigerians are facing was inflicted by your husband’s policies and the corruption around him.
Stop the selective comparisons and fix the economy first, sorry no fix, start packing, don't forget to take the atarodo and cameroon pepper in the Aso Rock kitchen with you.
Honestly, I need that skill that would have me leaving this 9 - 5 and living life at my own terms.
It's something that has been at the back of so many people's minds for so long but this AI revolution and crazy layoffs in Tech has sent that jolt of reality down our spines.
Somehow, I am feeling like AI and automation which has been taking away jobs, may actually end up making alot of savvy people rich soon enough.
It's all about Envision It, Build It, Apply It!
@Almubarakbalo01@General_Somto I could allow Obasanjo rule for 20 years, a Yar'adua (God rest his soul) but never, God forbid the worst president so far, the affliction upon the Nation Nigeria, to stay beyond 2027!
The Fulani terrorists are rapping the women and young girls they kidnapped for ransom.
……. APC, BAT & co are going about campaigning for re-election and warning people to stop insulting BAT.
Nigeria is supposed to be witnessing a large-scale coordinated mission to rescue these victims and secure the country.
Are these leaders not aware that the country is sinking?
📢Tinubu: “We recruited 1,000 forest guards.”
Obi: “That’s not the issue. Do it properly.”
People think the debate is whether to act. It’s not. It’s numbers vs systems.
Anyone can announce recruits. Not everyone can build structure, accountability, and results.
That’s the difference. 🥂
I am 100%Obidient but I hold this man, Donald Duke to a very high esteem.
I have always considered Donald Duke a good man. His tenure as Governor of Cross River State -my home state was defined by remarkable infrastructural development, an agricultural revival, and a deliberate investment in tourism. During those years, Cross River earned a reputation as one of the greenest and cleanest states in Nigeria.
In facts, hundreds of communities in Cross River State lit our first electrical bulbs during his reign. life moved very fast and nicely.
Sadly, years later, we seem to have drifted back into the doldrums.
However, I believe his greatest undoing after leaving office as governor has been his political alignment. He has not positioned himself strategically enough to remain visible and influential in the nation's political landscape.
If not, how can one explain that the finest governor of his era is yet to make inroads at the federal level?
Again, he is the presidential candidate for the People Redemption Party(PRP). A party no one can bet will make the list of top 5 contenders in 2027 with all due respect.
Whether this (political oblivion ) is a deliberate personal choice or a consequence of a system that often sidelines capable leaders is a question best left for political researchers and historians to answer.
If Peter Obi were half as corrupt as his traducers allege, the APC machinery would have long exhumed every skeleton, paraded them in technicolour, and danced upon the grave of his reputation.
Yet here we are: EFCC, ICPC, and CCB — those tireless bloodhounds of the Nigerian state — still sniffing frantically for a single credible scent of graft after years of desperate hunting.
Nothing. Not a whiff. Not a whisper.
So they descend, predictably, into the theatre of the absurd: “He is dull. His voice lacks bass. He sympathises with IPOB. He leads a mob.”
When facts desert you, fling mud and hope some sticks.
Thank God Peter Obi’s record stands crystalline — untainted, transparent, and defiantly competent.
A name bathed in integrity will always outshine one merely imported from Chicago.
The contrast is no longer subtle.
It is luminous.
Peter Obi is coming, and Bola Tinubu knows it.
INEC Database Breach Is Beyond Emeka Ike, It’s A National Issue- Osoma
This issue goes beyond Emeka Ike as an individual. Even if an apology is offered, it is not just about him, it is a broader political and national concern. Any voter can reasonably ask, if this is what has happened in this case, how secure is our personal data in the hands of INEC? The real issue is the protection of INEC’s database and the integrity of the system safeguarding sensitive voter information. INEC must do more to demonstrate that this data is secure, and where individuals are found guilty of wrongdoing, they should be properly investigated and prosecuted to serve as a deterrent and send a clear message to anyone who may attempt to compromise such information.
