We are sad to report the loss of 27-year-old Magic Weisner due to complications from West Nile. Winning the 2022 G2 Ohio Derby & 2nd second to War Emblem in the G1 @PreaknessStakes, he arrived at Old Friends in 2020 with best friend and paddockmate Bo’s a Ten. He will be missed.

We are sad to announce the loss of Skip’s World, who was euthanized due to a hoof infection. A 10 year Old Friends resident, he was retired to us in 2016 by Carolyn Hine. He will be dearly missed by everyone on the farm, especially his Paddock 32 herd.

Running against a strong group of horses, Big Blue Kitten dug deep to take home the G1 United Nations trophy and beat a field that included another Old Friends star in Little Mike. BBK would run in the race again 2 years later – also winning that edition!

Bellamy Road's legacy grew over the weekend when grandson Booth won the Iowa Sprint!

It’s the third straight week an Old Friend resident has registered a SW with Rainbow Heir’s daughter Miss Vyvyanne winning the G2 Highlander and Soldat’s Spirited Sol winning the Karl Boyes.

In a 3-year-old class for the ages, Any Given Saturday had to face Hard Spun and Curlin in the G1 Haskell but it was his time to shine. He romped home by 4 ½ lengths to win his first Grade 1 and register his second of three consecutive victories!
