Ahead of the launch of our direct flights between Muscat and Tashkent on 3 July 2026, Oman Air today hosted “Discover Oman and Uzbekistan: Advancing Bilateral Tourism Relations” in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman.

The event brought together His Excellency Abdulsalom Khatamov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Hamood Al Alawi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, government representatives, tourism stakeholders, and travel industry partners to highlight new opportunities for tourism and business between Oman and Uzbekistan.

As we prepare to welcome guests onboard our new twice-weekly service to Tashkent, we look forward to strengthening connectivity and supporting closer ties between the two countries.
