Slow Horses is back, and it’s still one of the best shows on TV. Season 6 just dropped on Apple TV. It’s about a bunch of spies Britain doesn’t really want.

They’re messy, rude, tired, and somehow still the ones who save the day. Gary Oldman plays Jackson Lamb. He’s disgusting, funny, and smarter than almost everyone around him. He looks like he hasn’t slept in a week and still runs circles around people in nice suits.

That’s what I like about this show. It doesn’t make spies look cool. It makes them look like real people with bad jobs, bad habits, and the occasional good instinct.If you want a slick action show, this isn’t it.
