In the Shadows premieres at the @BFI London Film Festival on 9 October 🎬
Directed by Anthony Wonke, it tells the story of Somali-British boxing champion Ramla Ali — her fight to box against all odds, and what it cost to get there.
We sat down with Ramla Ali who also executive produced the film, and Bafta winner @jobson_jasmine, who plays Ramla on screen, to talk resilience, identity, family and chasing a dream nobody said you could have.
📽️In the Shadows gets a UK release on 30 October.
