we landed on a pretty good workflow for doing parallel work in OpenCode
this demo is with git worktrees but i also preview an alternative we're working on at the end
this will be in 1.6.0
@opencode can already spawn background subagents, but I just opened a PR letting you send synchronous tasks to the background.
But more interestingly, this video was recorded + edited by 𝚘𝚙𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚘𝚍𝚎 running 𝚘𝚙𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚘𝚍𝚎 with 𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚊𝚕-𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚕.
10M developers use @opencode every month. This means the experience has to feel the same every hour of every day; slow or inconsistent inference breaks productivity and flow.
Enter Baseten. With Baseten's Model APIs, OpenCode achieves 5x faster TPS, sub-second TTFT, and 33% blended cost savings passed directly to users through cache token pricing.
in the next version of @opencode
acp will be faster and more compatible with the protocol. fixed a bunch of zed/windows/mac issues, permission weirdness, dropped image blocks, slow config switches, etc
this was a full rewrite of the acp module
DigitalOcean Inference Router is now available through OpenCode & setup is 3 steps. ☁️🆕🤝
Run/connect & it automatically routes to the right model for the job. No more paying frontier prices for a commit message.
more and more work is moving into coding agents, I don't live in my editor anymore
but you gotta keep an eye on these little goblins, they write bad code.
so we built a diff viewer in opencode! available now
You can now use your @grok or X Premium subscription in @opencode.
Use the model powering Grok Build for high speed and codebase intelligence.
