Today, we’re joined by Moin from Standing Tall, a brilliant charity offering opportunities to our service users 👏

Standing Tall supports people experiencing homelessness and those in insecure housing helping them move towards safe accommodation and stable employment.

Last week we attended the 10th year celebration event of Self Help UK's beyond diagnosis cancer support service! 🎉

Since 2015, they have been a consistent source of support for individuals living with cancer and their loved ones across Nottinghamshire. 💙

Good news from the Open Kitchen Nottingham today - Chris, who has been a service user for over a year, came in today to inform us that he started a full time job this week and to thank us and the donors for all the help when he needed it! 😀

Giving water is a blessed act of charity! In Islam, there is a famous hadith where the Prophet (saw) was asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’. [Abu Dawud]

We received a very generous donation of 768 bottles of water this week from a brother asking us to make du'a for peace across the world and for his family.
