For all you experimental fans, Hospital Street is a 35min, fully improvised, all-synth journey from RVA pals @opinband. A+ start to finish. Still got some tapes too & you can bundle it with their righteous Media & Memory LP if desired. Highly rec’d!

@dieworkwear Tried to hold this belief like a clenched fist in my 20s, got razzed for some true fumbles when I hit 30 and now I have a closet full of Evan Kinori and Engineered Garments 🥴
Finished tracking the new record last week and lost this dude suddenly on Sunday. A fan of body shaking bass and avid hater of muted trumpets. A punisher and a charmer.
@MRCHANCEFISCHER Totally. I grew up in a small/conservative town in Southern VA that was awash in dress codes that were clearly intended to segregate. That has definitely influenced a certain stylistic antagonism in me.
@MRCHANCEFISCHER Piece is great. Lived near McCormack's for a spell and stopped going after more than one handlebar mustachioed bartender told visiting friends to ditch the hat or leave while being surrounded by ill-fitting polos and 19th century cosplayers.
@themodernfolk Feel this but also they’ve given some love to some deeply under appreciated John Cale/Van Morrison records. As someone who grew up mostly unaware of the classic rock canon I respect the hustle.
