OPWalk is a volunteer organization that provides free surgery to patients that have no access to care for arthritis or other bone and joint conditions.

Patient education is top priority on missions. We teach about surgery, how to prepare for it and steps to take afterwards that maximize healing and results.

Family members help with PT and the recovery process so they will know best practices when returning home.

Did you know we ship about 9,000 pounds of equipment and supplies each trip? Then, we ship about 2,000 pounds of"perpetual" equipment home.

Orthopedic Surgeons selected as volunteers for OpWalk missions must perform at least 200 joint replacement procedures per year. It's a skilled and highly-respected group performing these life-saving surgeries.
