@Anad0s@OBSCODE90@JayDyer Blatant casuistry. How can something be both not forbidden while also inadmissable as an "attack on the inviolability & dignity of the person"? It's question begging to define the "demands of justice"so as to exclude capital punishment a priori as a necessary part of that justice
@Popesplainer09@JayDyer@WillsBlackwolf Is an act which constitutes "an attack on the inviolability & dignity of the person", intrinsically evil or intrinsically good? On the Pope's logic, how can that which is held to be an "attack" of this sort ever not be *intrinsically evil*? Sociology cannot define good and evil.
@PostTradMark If you read the Catechism of the Council of Trent on the death penalty, it explicitly refutes the position articulated here by Pope Leo. Aso, reducing the matter purely to the logistics of confinement trivializes the moral gravity of heinous crimes committed.
@NickyBats57@JayDyer@C2Antiquity Calling attention to VOR's documented sexual misconduct and the gross hypocrisy of his "ministry" is not "bullying." It's the necessary exposure of an absolute fraud.
