Rant Time..
The fact Maxwell is the only media entity pushing back on this in 2024 is utterly depressing & a symbol of how Demings turned his local media “partners” as he labels them into lapdogs.
Soaking in the last 8 days post election it’s apparent how failed modern media is
Orange County's convention center is already massive, rarely fully occupied and consistently loses money
Yet the county is spending another half-billion dollars to expand it again - even as the convention meeting market shrinks.
That's stupid math.

@SportssFann1 Yep. It honestly should have happened last year but they were loyal. I get it (when he’s on he’s a fantastic manager at the MLS level) but it was time.
A fantastic servant to the club and someone that gave us our US Open Cup. Wish him nothing but the best but this is in everyone’s best interest.
Sometimes it’s just time to move on and this is probably a year and change late.
Orlando City and Head Coach Oscar Pareja have mutually agreed to part ways. Assistant coach Martín Perelman has been appointed interim head coach following Pareja’s departure.
Sad to see her go. She’s been an incredible human being for this club and we owe her tremendously.
It’s also a reminder it’s been a hell of a long time since Phil abandoned us (and her) to the Flavi-Leitao team.
Nobody did more with less athleticism than the Taxman. Orlando has a serious love affair with “hustle” guys (Skiles, Darrell Armstrong, Bo Outlaw, Valentino) and this guy slides right into that category.
I wish him the absolute best and hope the club finds something good for him
🇵🇾 BREAKING: Orlando City is finalizing a deal to sign Paraguay int'l goalkeeper Carlos Coronel, per sources.
Big addition for Orlando, getting one of the league's best GKs

Assistant Coach Fabián Bazán has departed the club by mutual decision.
Grateful for six years of dedication and commitment in Orlando. Forever a Lion 💜

Paul has the chops to write it. I just think this will be corporate/authorized biography slop.
The only truly great/no punches held authorized access book I’ve read in the past 20 years was First Man (the incredible Neil Armstrong biography).
It’s been dead: core MLS fans hate the roster shenanigans while casuals are strolling past.
The only thing I’m waiting for is Tenorio or someone else with access writing the tell all book about how far the league went “breaking rules” for this “project” at every level.
I’ve said it for years: this should have been done after the fact (once Messi is gone) w/all the BTS drama & shenanigans that enabled Miami every advantage exposed.
Remember the Cobb movie when Al Stump wrote two books (the propaganda and the REAL expose?) I was hoping for that
I'm thrilled to announce my book, The Messi Effect, comes out June 9 and is available now for preorder.
It takes you behind the scenes of Messi in Miami and into the MLS boardroom as owners debate how to grow in a fast-evolving American soccer landscape.
