A consultation was organised by #OSDMA in collaboration with United Nation Disaster Risk Reduction(UNDRR) on 21st Nov 2025 to discuss the Disaster Recovery Assessment Tools at Rajiv Bhawan, Bhubaneswar. Participants from line Departments, GoO, UN Agencies attended the meeting.

Alert siren systems installed at MCSs along the coastline were activated during the civil defence mock drill on 07.05.25 at 4 pm. The task forces of cyclone shelters participated in the mock drill. The SEOC & DEOCs of 12 designated districts remained alert during the mock drill.

For strengthening Gender transformative approach in the DRR framework, a 3-day training organized by OSDMA, from 17th to 19th Dec'24 for 39 Master Trainers from 15 districts completed at ROTI, Bhubaneswar. This will bring inclusivity in disaster management & enhance community resilience.

To incorporate Gender transformative approach in Disaster Risk Reduction framework a 3-day training program from 20th to 22nd Nov'24 for 38 Master Trainers from 15 districts completed at ROTI, Bhubaneswar.
